Princess Basma, President of the National Goodwill Campaign’s higher committee, visited two private hospitals where 27 patients were recovering from much-needed surgeries, to check on their conditions.
The recuperating patients, who used to suffer from serious medical conditions, underwent several procedures ranging from cardiac catheterisation and eye operations, to orthopaedic and facial reconstruction surgery.
Nineteen patients benefited from the free-of-charge operations at the Islamic Hospital and eight at Jordan Hospital.

Princess Basma unveils a plaque for Main Lecture Hall at the Islamic Hospital which was recently opened in her name.
Islamic Hospital Director General Nael Adwan, announced that the centre’s main hall was named after Princess Basma in recognition of her humanitarian efforts.
