The Princess presents assistance to Al Hajj Saleh Al Tarawneh, president of the Union of Charitable Societies in Karak.
As President of the National Goodwill Campaign’s higher committee Princess Basma presented 10 societies in Karak assistance to establish income-generating projects, such as a yogurt factory, sewing workshop, kindergarten and multipurpose hall.

Princess Basma learns about a sewing workshop for the disabled with the head of The Mutah Special Education Centre in Karak, Itawi Majali.
The Mutah Special Education Centre in Karak, 118kms from the capital, trains people with different disabilities on various skills to help support themselves.
As President of the National Goodwill Campaign higher committee, Princess Basma toured the centre, which is supported by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD).
